Our Roots in Ann Arbor
The Bacon Or The Egg started at the University of Michigan with a few friends, a griddle, and a simple idea: game days deserved a better breakfast.
What began as small-batch sandwiches before football Saturdays quickly turned into campus-wide bagel deliveries. Demand grew. Word spread. And a tradition was born.
Today, we’re a fully licensed mobile breakfast catering operation serving Ann Arbor and Metro Detroit. From University of Michigan tailgates to weddings, corporate mornings, and private events, we’ve scaled the operation — but kept the original energy: fresh sandwiches, served hot, built to bring people together.
